RAIJŪ — SPIRIT OF SUBARU
Omamori are traditional Japanese protective charms, found at shrines and temples across Japan. The word mamori means protection: a blessing sealed inside the pouch and carried close as a quiet guardian.
Raijū is the thunder beast of Japanese folklore, a spirit said to ride the lightning and fall to earth during storms. Fast, electric and impossible to contain, it's the guardian of Subaru and rally culture.
This is the Raijū omamori from our Yokai Spirits series, a woven charm in bold blue, white and gold, made for the drivers who go looking for gravel, rain and disappearing traction.
Hang it from your mirror, clip it to your keys or keep it in the glovebox. Either way, the storm rides with you.
Why drivers carry omamori
- A traditional Japanese symbol of protection on every drive
- Woven design inspired by Japanese yōkai and Subaru rally heritage
- Small and light, made to hang from a rear-view mirror, bag or key ring
- Part of the Incomplete Yokai Spirits series: Tengu, Oni and Raijū
Want the full set? The Raijū Spirit Set pairs this charm with the Raijū air freshener and an exclusive Raijū x GC8 decal.
Built for those who command the storm.
