Ryujin (aka Ryu-o) is the dragon king, sea god, and master of serpents in Japanese mythology. Fishermen worshiped the dragon god for successful fishing and calm seas. They celebrated feasts in honor of Ryujin, which was then glorified as the god of the sea.
Ryūjin lived in Ryūgū-jō, his palace under the sea built out of red and white coral, from where he controlled the tides with magical tide jewels.
His Dragon Palace is depicted in our floor mats, showcasing his fierce head in the outer top parts of the mats.
For our logo, we have designed Incomplete to represent a crown residing on his head with the Japanese text underneath translating to "Dragon King."
